D'Eon tell me how we are related? I know we are but I don't have you listed in my tree.

Hi D'Eon....I see that you sent a request to her to change the name on the Memorial......if she were to change it then if someone came up later to the cemetery then they would not think that the person had been added and there would be duplicates...if anything use the edit tab and then the last option and send her something to add into the Bio part of it...

Thank you for the recent edits to this family. Marcelia Lee, Inez Cross,, Ernest Cross, and Pearl Cross' memorials are now updated with the information as per your request. Thank you for taking the time to request these edits and for all you do with find a grave. I enjoy the site greatly. Love in Family, Always, Bren Sorensen
|Kerry Girolamo||RE: Edit for Amos Richardson|
D'Eon, thank you for your reply. I looked at the 1860 census for Jasper County, Texas and found the Amos Richardson kin to my wife to be living with his parents as of 30 July 1860. You mentioned that Hannah had married an Amos in June 1860 so I'm sure it's a different Amos. This line of Richardson's in Jasper County, TX is a large group and most stayed right there in that county. I've not seen any research that would put them in Rusk County. Some did move to Limestone and Leon Counties for a while. I'm going to reject the edit based on what research I have done in the past and the 1860 census. Also, on Ancestry, it appears that Amos and Hannah were married until her death in 1898 so the Jasper County Amos hopefully didn't have two wives at the same time! Thank you for sending edits and updating the memorials and for the work you are doing on Find A Grave all these years. Kerry G.
|Kerry Girolamo||Edit for Amos Richardson|
Hi D'Eon. I have considered your edit for Amos Richardson showing Hannah Mayfield as one of his spouses. Richardson is a family line so I have done a great deal of research on this particular line and do not recall seeing any proof of this union. I consulted another Richardson researcher who has done much more research on this Richardson line and he was not familiar with it. Could you provide me some proof of this union? Martha Ann Gandy has always been the spouse that we are aware of for Amos. Thanks, Kerry G.

Hi, this is my grandfather, he wasn't born until 1882, so no this can't be the Simon Travis that you have information on. It is probably his uncle, son of Nancy Ann Hicks and Joseph Lindley or possibly a cousin. His uncle may have had a son named Simon Travis his wife was Ann Proctor Hogg, I think they had several children and at least one son named Joseph. This Simon Travis was a doctor and his memorial can be found using this memorial number 75602961

Information and links added. Thanks, again, for the information. I found a CAPT. G.R. & Martha L. Hart in the Comanche Cem., Comanche TX. Do you know if these are Pearl's parents?

|Deidre Stevens||John B. Goforth|
John B. Goforth Sr. B.1856 is the father of John B. Goforth B. 1889 D 1953. The senior wasn't Ernestine's husband. The John B. Goforth that was her husband was the 1889. He married about 5 times. From what I know is that the younger died in Broken Bow of a heart attack, but I cant find where he was buried or cremated.
