I know you have done a lot of work on the Durham Family Line. I think I can help you with a few names and make a few corrections on some. My data is 100 percent correct as these people were My family at my age I even knew a few . My mother was Mary Julia Durham she is 94yrs and her sister is 103years. They are still sharp minded and have given me names of family members because they knew them. her father Edward Watson Durham Chatham county, N.C.. I have traced him back to Matthew Durham. Edward Watson Durham was born In Chatham Co. and he died in Chatham Co. ,N.C. -
My family lines on my Mothers side are Durham-Herndon-Riggsbee -Bennitt- my father was
Cuba Owen Matlock (Texas) but I have traced most of the family back to the first Matlock in America. Herndons-way back in England. I look for grave tombstones-church records bible records death /birth certificated / marriage records. well anyway I would like to share information

It would be nice if you would add her Mother and Father and Brother to the post.
Her Father was Doyle Plunkett 2 Mar 1919-16 Mar 1985,.... Her mother was Lilly "Polly" Silvers, 2 July 1920-22 July 1984. Her brother is James Edward Plunkett ( 1946) Thank you.
|Leon Hampton||Ama Marie Hampton|
Thank you for including my sister, Ama, in Find A Grave. However, she, and I, are children of John Quincy Hampton and Vera Dee Doran Hampton. John was a son of the William Lafayette Hampton buried at Garland.
|Anonymous||Neill Family in Taylor Co, TX|
Edits just sent on the Neill family are from their death certs, these headstone appear to all have been set at the same time there by family members at a later date and they were guessing at the correct dates, some question as to whether America was even buried there?? Dates need to be edited and cleared up and a note in the bio as to where dates came from, Texas Death cert:
Thank you for your assistance
I would have sent this through the edit suggest button, but that is such a pain anymore, the Robot check box button doesn't work
James, I clicked on your link and was reading about your Paul Stafford Durham and his brothers service in the Marines. It struck me, I bet they never knew that they were serving with 2 brothers that were their cousins at those very battles. My great uncles both served in the marines in WWII and in Korea. I have an old news paper article that my grandma saved and it mentions both those battles. We are descendants of Cyril Durham. E Ferguson.

New (2015) developments on the burial locale for my uncle, Chester M Durham. Recently, US Army records have been declassified and made public, which reveal errors in his current findagrave biography. Please correct his place of birth to Jacinto, Dallas County, AR, as listed in his US Army enlistment records. Also, according to Missing Air Crew Report #11126, the B-17G was hit northeast of ZEITZ, Germany after dropping its bombs on the Brabag Synthetic Oil Plant. Chester M Durham's id tags were recovered in the plane's nose section at its crash site in the Forest Oberholz, near Großpösna, Germany. The Germans buried his remains in the Großpösna Cemetery and reported this location to the US Army in Jan 1945. lorelei1026

JiM: Will you please clean the Request for Photo from her memorial. I can appreciate why you are not able to take the photo now.
If you clear the request, maybe someone else can go out there to take a photo.
Thank you so very, very much,

FYI The find a grave memorial #84623058 has the name spelled Gaylor, but the stone has Gayler.
