Hi Linda

It's Kathleen. In your endeavors, have you found any children of John and Ella or Joseph and Daisy adoptions?

or any of the family?
Or any adoptions in 1969? By chance.
I have a message on my page and am hoping someone can
Help Her find her family.

Wonderful to see you.

RE: Charles and Elizabeth Kelly
I accept your birth and death dates on Elizabeth Simmons as I can not find her in SS Deaths. Charles middle name William comes from their marriage records. See Iowa Select Marriages 1758 to 1996.
I think that you may be wrong on Charles birth as SS Death Index gives a date of 12 Sep 1888. His SS # is 485-05-5859. Birth dates in these records are almost always correct as they have to be proven when originally given. Death dates are sometimes in error as they are furnish by someone else after death.
You asked about my relationship with the family. I have no connection to the Iowa Family. This family came into the USA in 1850 thru New York City, then to Chicago and then Iowa. My family is an older Hotchkin family that came to the Colonies just after the Pilgrims and into Guilford, CT., then NY. My immediate family were early pioneer in Michigan (about 1847). I grew up there and now live in California. I maintain a big Hotchkin website.

RE: Headstone pictures
You are welcome, Linda. I finished uploading the pics, so see if you have any luck.

I know another member who is interested in the Scott line. Her name is Amanda. I mentioned you to her, in case she does try to contact you.

Hi Linda,

I am currently working on Walnut Hill cemetery in Borden. I hope to have all the pics posted by this Monday. I have added several new Scott and McKinley memorials, so you may want to check if any are your ancestors.

Hi Linda,

Certainly you may use the photos in your family research. That makes me happy when folks can use them. So many others have helped me on this website!

Yes, certainly, you may use the photo on Ancestry. It's my pleasure to help people find out more about their ancestors -- enjoy!

RE: Mansfield grave stones
Well I saw I made a mistake so I erased the photo. To bad it was the wrong one. I deleted the wrong one I hope and corrected it. Melba has a memorial done, check it for mistakes. Thank you for pointing this put.

RE: Sarah Thompson
thank you, Linda. I am related to many of the Thompsons in Taylor County, Iowa but not, as far as I know, to this Thompson family. How about you? Julia
