Bio Photo My direct ancestral line in America begins with the Robinsons of Cambridge, MA, with William Robinson (1640-93) and Elizabeth Cutter (1645-92) being one of the first 56 members of Cambridge Village, MA and also the lineal family of Captain Richard Olmsted (1612-87), an original proprietor of Hartford, CT.

If you could see your ancestors
All standing in a row,
Would you be proud of them or not,
Or don't you really know?

Some strange discoveries are made
In climbing family trees,
And some of them, you know, do not
Particularly please.

If you could see your ancestors
All standing in a row,
There might be some of them, perhaps,
You wouldn't care to know.

But here's another question, which
Requires a different viewó If you could meet your ancestors,
Would they be proud of you?

Isaac Parker in Morningside Cemetery, Malone NY
Hi Douglas,

Thank you so much for adding the image of my wife's ancestor, Isaac Parker. Would you happen to recall the book you found the image and biography in? Thanks so much!

RE: Hungerford
Hi Doug,
I have been so busy since past year. Starting back up again. Did you ever get the books? If not I can scan mine and send them to you in PDF files. Where is Simeon Hungerford buried?

Thanks & Merry Christmas.

Rider Family - Geauga County, Ohio
Hi Douglas...I see you've posted some great data on the Rider family in Geauga County, Ohio. MY Lemuel Rider (1776-187), who married Patience Eldredge is buried in the Rider Cemetery in Geauga County. I've been searching for his parents for about 35 years, with no luck. Because of all the other Rider burials, I've been trying to tie in in with one of them....with no luck. By any chance do you see in your files this Lemuel???

Thanks in advance for any help that you can give to me.

James Deforrest Fassett
Hi, Can you please delete his record as James is interred at Harvard Grove Cemetery. We mistakenly thought he was at Highland Park because it was written on his death certificate. Or could you make a note on the page that he is interred at Harvard Grove.

RE: Lang
Hi Douglas
If I ever go by that cemetery again I will certainly check. I was on a road trip and took
some pictures. I try to take whole families so
I would guess if they were near they aren't readable. I would try the church which I believe is still operating. I will double check my can't read photos from the trip. Wishing you luck and please let me know if you find them

I am a volunteer at the Dearborn Historical Museum archives. I was browsing through old diaries of our first undertaker in Dearborn, and saw that he had made an entry about 1884 to dig up from an old cemetery here, and deliver bodies to George Robinson of Detroit. Your entry for George Robinson is terrifcic. The bodies that Robinson requested were Hannah and Frances Mather and one Thomas Barnard. Might this be your family?
