re Sid Marley RAAF HMAS Sydney
Hi Annie.

I just put up a great pick of Sid on his page.
(Hope thats ok).

I am related to F/O RB Barrey RAAF who was the seaplane pilot and RAAF Detachment Commander HMAS Sydney from around April 1941 til its loss.

Would love to make contact and maybe swap some picks.

Have just updated Rays Page and also his Aircrew and some of the RAAF Groundstaff off HMAS Sydney.

Also other relations killed in war (7 served 6 dead by 1945 2 RAAF and 4 RAN) are now being done.

Hope to hear from you -

Email is

Also have some picks inlcud Sid's Name of RAAF Seaplane Memorial located at former RAAF Rathmines in NSW(too large to post here).

Frederick Anthony Hambley 1885-1917
I have been searching for descendants of my gt uncle Frederick A Hambley for many years, without success. I noticed you left a note indicating you are a relative. Could you tell me how you are related? Fred's wife was Alice Cain, his only child was Eugenia Selina, born 1913. He had a maternal aunt, Julia Riva, who emigrated to Australia sometime before 1889. I have never been able to find any trace of her either. JoAnn in Ontario, Canada
