My name is Mindy and I have been working on my family and my Daughters Fathers family history for the last 27 years. It all started when my grand mothers basement flooded and we had to remove things from the room and there was a book shelf in the corner and I was looking and moving books and I found a book that was a local book that was made in the 1970's that had a lot of local family history in it. I started to look though it and what did I find a long list of my daughters fathers family grandma let me take it home and there it began and I have never stopped my books are bigger and longer now the greatest hobby ever ! Grandma's gone now and I miss her very much but I know she is in my heart and soul in my hobby. I just wish she was here to share it with when I find things. I know she is proud and I am prouder for doing this.
