I live in Indiana and I research members of the 19th Indiana Infantry from the Civil War. My goal is to locate and photograph the headstones of these veterans and post them on my website. Sometimes these stones are in almost unreadable condition or these soldiers are in unmarked graves. When possible I will put in new stones for these men. I have teamed up with Cindy Coffin at Find A Grave who has built a Virtual Cemetery for this regiment. Deanna Peterson at Find A Grave is also working hard on this project doing research and photographing headstones in the central part of the country.
