The whole family roots thing grabbed me about 40 years ago. It is the most interesting hobby a person can have. What is more important than knowing past family history? Now with the modern tech. we can see things and do things that I never thought of years ago. So being able to help others with information from my area is only a pay back for all the help I have recieved over the years...
Retiring from state work at 47 (back in 1987) has given me the time needed to search the family tree..
