I am currently Sexton of the De Soto Kansas Cemetery and have been involved in updating maps, records, etc. since 2004. I took over find-a-grave memorials in De Soto Cemetery when my friend Leota Payton could no longer take care of them due to illness and have been working to keep all records/pictures current. This led to my officially forming and am chairman of the De Soto Historical Society. I am passionate about the history of De Soto, Kansas and its' people.
I graduated from De Soto High School in 1971 and have been married to my high school sweetheart 48 years. We have 3 children whom we raised here and we will be buried here.
