Bio

I live in Grand Haven. That's in western Michigan, and is right on the shore of Lake Michigan.

I enjoy walking cemeteries with my better half, recording headstones here in Michigan. We do this while traveling also, taking pictures in interesting cemeteries and entering them here on FAG. I am mainly a marker recorder, entering pics on existing memorials and creating memorials for those not yet on this site.

Please ask first if you want to use my photos. They may be used only if I am given credit for them w/my permission. Thanks.

I am happy to have had the photograph I took of Maj. Noah Ferry's headstone published in the Civil War Historian magazine Spring 2009, Vol 5, Issue 1, page 20. I was asked permission, which I gave gladly, and was given credit for the photo. That's how it works.

Many memorials I manage are not related to me, and I will
transfer along FAG rules only - direct relatives up to 4 generations...siblings, parents, grandparents, great grandparents only. Ask by clicking on edit, then send me a note including your FAG number. Please don't create a duplicate memorial of anyone.

I do not add obituaries per FAG rules (unless it is pre-1923 per copyright laws).

I think Find A Grave is a great site.

Why should I fear death? If I am, death is not. If death is, I am not. Why should I fear that which can only exist when I do not?
