I always said I did not want to have children after forty. However, God in his infinite wisdom gave us Alex for 35 weeks and I know now, not to question God's ways.

Although Alex did not live outside of my womb, he changed my world forever. I have read many writings of parents like Steve and I; and family members just like mine, they all seem to have one thing in common, they express how their "Alex" changed their lives. Prior to this pregnancy, I could not understand how that could be.

On May 4, 2008 I found out that God chose those to be impacted by Alex's birth; including Steve and myself. With that said, I pray that Alex gave you what he gave me, "A lifetime of joy in an instant".
