Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started tracing my family tree in 1997. I live in San Diego and have to do much of my work long distance and have often depended on the kindness of strangers.

When I found Findagrave I saw it as a way to honor my ancestors and provide help to those who have loved ones buried here. Not everyone in my family gets this, but I enjoy tramping through cemeteries.

Unless otherwise stated, I don't consider my photographs to be copyrighted. If you wish to use them for family histories, please feel free to do so (though it would be kind to let me know).

I continue to look for opportunities to expand the Findagrave database. If you see my virtual cemetery list, you can see that I have a number of Catholic clergy there. Priests, monks, brothers, and nuns are all celibate and don't have children to visit their graves. Bearing that in mind I like to think this increases the number of visitors they receive.

RE: Mary Wheelock
Hello: Thank you for your note. I know the Wheelock family very well, although I am not a blood relative. I have known the two oldest daughters since we were five years old and we have remained friends all these years. I moved out of the area but have frequently stayed with Dr. and Mrs. Wheelock when I have been in town visiting. I have met your father-in-law several times, although he may not remember me. I would be happy to maintain Dr. Wheelock's memorial should you wish to transfer it to me. My Find A Grave number is 48143529.

Dions @ Notre Dame, Gardner, MA

I just fulfilled your request for Stella and Harold Dion in Gardner, Mass. at Notre Dame Cem. There was also an infant stone for Angela M. Dion with only the date 1981 on it. I added her to find-a-grave but I didn't know if you knew how she was related.

Transfer Management of Memorial to Me?
Hi Esperer,

I will have information to add for Charles Anthony Gwynn, Sr., father of the HOF baseball player, Tony Gwynn. I am friends with and went to high school with Tony Gwynn's brother, Chris, and I have been friends with Chris' wife, JoAnn, since 7th grade. (All of us, including Tony, graduated from Long Beach Poly High School.)I obtained Charles' picture from the Gwynn family. I am willing to take over management of Charles' memorial so that it will look the way the Gwynn family would like, since none of them have an account. Of course, I will turn over management to the Gywnn family if they want, or I would manage any Gwynn memorials. Thank you!
