I've been doing family research since 1981, and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. There's always a hidden treasure waiting somewhere.|
I've tried to be as accurate as possible with any information that I present. I make every effort to document all of my information with reliable sources, however, errors are imminent even with the best of sources and efforts. If you should find any errors in any postings I've made, please contact me immediately and I'll do additional research to either justify my information or correct the information I've presented.
This is my small way of showing my respect and honoring those who have passed on.
My great grandparents John and Josephine (Hatke) Deiterman donated the land for ST. MARTIN'S CEMETERY AT TOURS, TEXAS.

Thank you for the directions to the cemetery. I'm sure they will be incredibly useful to people trying to find it, as it seems well off the beaten path.

Thank you so much for transferring this memorial. He'll be happy to know I'm taking care of him, I'm sure. Thanks for all you do on Find A Grave.

Her death is reported in the Wise County Messenger Newspaper, Wise County, Texas on page 5, Feb. 26, 1915. She died the previous Saturday night which was Feb. 20, 1915 in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas. I have added a suggested change to her death date on her memorial accordingly.

Hi Andrea, my grandfather's name was Sumpter Perrino and although he is listed on General Jesse Perrino as his father on his death cert, he is actually General Jesse Perrino's nephew. Feel free to contact me and I can provide the Census Bureau from 1910.
|Alicia Marek-Buck||Jan Malina|
Hello Andrea. I think I have found some information regarding your entry for John (Jan) Malina. I believe he is buried in Garwood Texas in the Batla family cemetery. Here is the link.
His name is spelled a bit different, but the same birth and death dates, plus would be buried with his son-in-law, husband of daughter Mary (Maria).
Hope this helps you in your search!
|Joel Wagnon||Your inquiry about Boney Castleberry|
This is the whole story:
He was christened Anthony Boney Castleberry at birth but soon disliked his "A.B.C." initials so he said he was not going to be as simple as that.
He was proud of the Boney part of his name because he was partly named for an uncle, a Government Scout who played a great part in the taming of the West. Boney Earnest, of Wyoming an the western frontier. So he dropped Anthony completely from his name. H signed his name as Boney Castleberry, his initials as B.C. In school if asked for a middle name he would give it as Boney C. or B.C. Castleberry.
This is just part of a great biographical sketch from Harry Castleberry, Boney's son.To read the entire sketch you need to get a copy of "Castleberry and Allied Families". Copyright 1967 by Jesse W Castleberry M.D. 12404 Summerport Lane, Windrmere Fl. 34786. 407-656-6225. The last time I spoke to Dr. Jesse was 2003. The book (hard bound) is a little over an Inch thick, 313 pages. There is also another book, Vol. 2 that goes back to German roots but the good stuff is in the the first one.
Are you related to this line? may wife is Boney's Great grand-niece. she is Patricia Ann Castleberry Wagnon, born Nacogdoches, Texas.
I will assist in any way I can.

You are very welcome. The owner told me they had a double stone but he went out with me and showed me the spot cause I never would have found it. He has only had ownership of Azleland for about a year and trying to update the books. By the way, I'm from the same area he was born in near Alameda County (born San Jose) and now same area he died in.

I approved your edit request linking Walter Washington Webb to his parents. I have no ancestry link to him, just photographed his graveside and realized he had no memorial. Let me know if you would like to have maintenance for his memorial ... I would be happy to transfer, especially if he is part of your family.
