If I have helped in your genealogy search, please visit the memorial for my father, whom I adored and loved so much and will miss until we meet again and leave a flower for him.

Herbert Lockhart.

I started my research in 1993, looking for Lockhart and Sams (my father's parents). My mother was one of fourteen and my father was one of eleven. I keep climbing the tree and going out on the limbs!

I have eighty-one cousins - YES COUSINS! A very large family! My husband started his research in 2009 when he became the oldest living relative at age 49. He thought he had a small family with one cousin. His great grandparents came from large families - most of which he never knew.

Since then, I am now researching the names of Lockhart, Edgar, Radcliff, Markley, Sheppard, Somerville, Steed and Cheuvront (also on Father's side); Stacey, Pillar [Pilyer], Como, Aston and Hopper (Mother's family). My husband showed interest in his ancestry so we are now researching the names of Stockdale, Leon (Leone) and Robinson, DeLong, Ankrom (Tyler Co).

Currently over 45,000 in our tree. During our research, the enjoyment of finding documentation that you never thought you would find and sharing it, is so satisfying and pleasing. Some of the expressions from my parents are priceless. Memories are so very important to me! Those we can keep close and forever, are wonderful.

The memorials I have added have been made for memories and to assist those who do genealogy. They are not intended to hurt or upset anyone. If one has been posted that you prefer does not appear, just kindly contact me and it will be removed immediately upon request. My family is updated as I find more information and some memorials are currently waiting for burial information.

If you have pictures or anything that you can add to any memorial, please feel free to do so. The more we can help each other, the more we help others!

I appreciate all those who help in my search as I know those that I help do appreciate it also. Find A Grave has been a remarkable tool in my research with those contributors in various states posting memorials that I have found and needed! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

PHOTOS ARE COPYRIGHTED - SHOULD NOT BE COPIED!

Someone has copied all of my photos from Find A Grave to their website as well as all of the information that I have posted on my family line memorials taking credit for all the long work that "they" did, when in reality it was my hard work that they stole. Taking my photos without permission, I believe this to be a copyright violation. - Found their info online in Nov 2013 - he has removed his information that he claimed to have done so much work. Happened again by a person who is not related to the family but has copied all information and stating how she researched the information for years!

Going forward starting 3/10/2024, I will be verifying all edits. The reason behind this is that a member who joined 3/5 or 3/6, changed their name daily sent me seven edits for my FATHER's memorial, telling me I had incorrect information. This person is no relative, don't know them and trust me, I know my father's memorial was correct! So I declined all edits for my father's memorial. In addition, this person was telling people to remove Plot information and we all know this to be accurate because the lady who works at the cemetery, sent us the information through edits and has updated the cemetery close to 98%. I have been a member of Find a Grave for over 22 years.

The first day they were known as B - R and the second day as Bettie F. They are a deleted user now. The edits for my father were sent on Day 1. Later in the evening she sent me another edit for my Father's Memorial. Once again, declined.

THE STRANGERS IN THE BOX
Author - Pamela A Harazim
Come, look with me inside this drawer
in this box I've often seen
At the pictures, black and white
Faces proud, still and serene
I wish I knew the people
These strangers in the box
Their names and all their memories
Are lost among the socks.
I wonder what their lives were like,
How did they spend their day?
What about their special times?
I'll never know their ways.
If only someone would have taken time,
To tell who, what and when,
Those faces of my heritage
Would come to life again.
Could this become the fate
Of this pictures we take today?
The face and the memories
Someday to be tossed away.
Make time to save your pictures
Seize the opportunity when it knocks
Or someday you and yours could be
The strangers in the box.

For those of you who are not aware, there is a site called Geni. A person on this site has copied all of my work as well as my personal pictures as if it was their own work. I have reported them to Geni. I know this for a fact because my pictures no one else had and also, the information I enter sometimes have hyperlinks and you can see the hyperlinks on their pages. PLEASE BE CAREFUL - CHECK GENI TO SEE IF YOU HAVE BEEN VANDALIZED! - Found 09 Feb 2018

Should I no longer be able to maintain my memorials, my assigned steward is Crystal Gwynn - Crystal #46975682.

FIND A GRAVE HAS UPDATED THEIR TRANSFER RULES
Our transfer guidelines include these close relationships: child, spouse/partner, sibling, parent, grandchild, great-grandchild, grandparent, great-grandparent, niece/nephew, great-niece/nephew, aunt/uncle, great-aunt/uncle, or first cousin.

****If you volunteer on this website and decide you no longer want to manage the memorials you have, please transfer your records to someone who has an active account and willing to take over the records. I am one of many willing to take over records. This really will help reduce duplicates. It would also be a good idea to leave someone instructions on how to make these transfers should you go inactive without warning.***** Thank You (Borrowed from another FAG Contributor)
