I live in South Eastern South Dakota.
I met and married my husband "Don" at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC, while we were both active duty. My Husband of almost 40 years passed away April 1, 2015. I enjoy our family of 3 boys and 4 girls. The oldest daughter and her husband retired from the Army as did her father. The oldest and middle sons served a tour in the Army. The two oldest grandsons served in Afghanistan and Iraq. We have 3 grand-sons and 5 grand-daughters, 6 great-grandsons and 5 great-granddaughters. I hibernate during the winter, but keep busy going to the pool for water walking and laps 3 days a week, read, embroider and cross stich; but in the summer I enjoy being outdoors and working in my yard. I share my home with my Pekingese, "Abby" and my rescue Kitty, "Tinker"...
