Bio

I started researching my families a few years ago. Some old family pictures and my great-grandfather Jones' family Bible got me curious enough to start looking and asking questions about my family. Several years later I am still looking and asking. My primary family names of interest are Jones, Smithson, Cripps, Hathaway, Moser, Wood, Owen, & Elledge all at some time living in the Middle Tennessee area in Dekalb, Wilson, Cannon and Warren Counties. Find A Grave has become a great source for genealogy to me. I have made many new friends here and have met a lot of new cousins. I think we have gained a lot from each other in our family searches. I enjoy helping others and I hope the memorials I post somehow does help someone find a friend or relative, I know I have found many. Most of the time I will transfer any memorial as long as they are not in my direct family lines or closely connected to my family. Just ask and tell me how you are connected. The same applies to pictures. I find my pictures posted all over the internet, some make reference to the originator and some don't. I don't mind anyone using my pictures for personal use but it would be considerate to mention the person that made the effort to get out and make them. Although I am not a registered photo volunteer, I would be happy to try and locate and photograph headstones for anyone, just ask.
