Bio

I am documenting the burial places of the Shawnee Indian Bluejacket family. The first identified male member is Chief Blue Jacket, born in the Pennsylvania area about 1743, and died in Sandwich, Ontario, Canada about 1808. I am a descendant of his grandson Charles Bluejacket and Julia Ann Daugherty. They settled in Oklahoma, from Kansas and the town of Bluejacket is named for this family.
Several Bluejacket descendants have been doing genealogical research on this family and it is well documented. I am focusing on grave sites. I would appreciate any information any one has or comes across. When I find a grave site already on graveyard that I have information for, I will forward it and hope that it can be added. If you are a closer family member to the person than I and would like to have the Memorial, just let me know, and I will happily transfer it to you.
