I appreciate this website so much and enjoy being a member. Many thanks to all who respond to my photo requests; your efforts are MUCH appreciated.

90% of my memorials are related to me in some fashion, albeit some distantly. I transfer memorials to members according to FaG guidelines, but may make some exception, depending upon the nature of the request. Please provide your member number and relationship to the individual. (My "memorials managed" number is high relative to my "memorials added" number because my relatives are quite content to allow ME to do the work)!

I don't mind anyone using pictures that I post, but would appreciate it if credit is given.

THIS IS A CEMETERY

Lives are commemorated,
deaths are recorded,
families are reunited,
memories are made tangible,
and love is undisguised.
This is a cemetery.

Communities accord respect,
families bestow reverence,
historians seek information
and our heritage is thereby
enriched.

Testimonies of devotion, pride and
remembrance are carved in stone to pay warm
tribute to accomplishments and to the life, not
the death, of a loved one. The cemetery
is homeland for family memorials
that are a sustaining source of comfort to the living.

A cemetery is a history of people, a perpetual
record of yesterday and sanctuary of peace and
quiet today. A cemetery exists because every
life is worth loving and remembering, always.
