I was born in Jasper, Texas to Sam and Juanita McMahon of Newton, Texas. I graduated from NHS in 1965 and married Kenneth Brooks that same year. We had two children, Scott, born in 1968 and Kelly, born in 1970. We divorced in 1987 and I moved to Jasper and then Henderson. I now live in Kerrville, Texas.
I am now married to my wonderful husband, Jim Needham. We now have a blended family of 6 children and 12 grandchildren. My life has been blessed with a wonderful family and friends. Bettie Hall Jordan continues to be my best friend thru all these years.
I truly am grateful for the values and morals that my parents instilled in me and pray that my legacy to my children and grandchildren will be the same.
