Welcome to my Page
Im a proud mother of three, Grandmother of two, I started researching my Family and my Husbands when I happened to find F.A.G. What a WARM and WELCOMING Place.. Its CALMING to have a real place with real people to relate and to REMEMBER.

*************************************************

Please do not put Death Certificates on my memorials I have been asked by several family members to not include them some have quite personal information or sad ends to there life, I try and find as much research on the person as I can, census, birth, marriage, records etc.. I dont list only dates unless I am still researching or have been unable to find information. My memorials are personal to me.. And I rather celebrate the person in Life instead of death i.e. DEATH CERTIFICATES, I wouldnt put something on anyones memorial without asking permission first, unless its a head stone photo and I expect the same.. Cam

************************************************* If I have made a Duplicate of a memorial please let me know I will remove it.. I will transfer any memorial that is your decent just let me know.....

Ansel H. Miller
Aug. 17, 1827-Feb. 11, 1899

DEATH OF AN OLD SETTLER

Ansel H. Miller Passed Away Saturday

Ansel H. Miller, a widely known farmer, residing two and one-half miles northwest, died at his home about 5 o'clock last Saturday evening, from the effects of paralysis. The deceased has resided at his late home for 36 years.

He leaves a wife and six children, the oldest of whom, Grenville, resides at Wichita, Kan. The others are as follows: Sidney, who resides on the Lardner farm, southwest of town; Charles, of this city; Mrs. C.R. Rhodes, of Galien; Miss Bertha, who lived with her parents, and Frank, of Kalamazoo college. Mr. and Mrs. Miller were the parents of ten children, but four of them are deceased.

Mr. Miller's neighbors and host of friends will deeply deplore his loss for he was a man who was universally esteemed. The funeral will occur from the late residence tomorrow at 2 p.m., Rev. Eyles officiating. Interment in Silver Brook cemetery.

Alton Robert Lott
I hope you can help me.My Grandfather, Alton Robert Lott died and is buried on Central State Hospital's ground. My brother and I want to place a stone on his grave if we can find it. We never knew him but I think that's what our Father would have wanted.
Thank you,
Karen Lott-Sowers

Charles H Phelps
Hello,
I am the 2nd Great Granddaughter to Charles H Phelps, and I was wondering where you found his employment information, as I have looked high and low for it. I do have his death certificate and it shows he was a pattern maker, but also as my mother tells it her great grandfather was also an auditor for a manufacturer, which he traveled around and did. I did send you a request for transfer. I would like to know if there was information in the newspaper about his death, and if so what newspaper did you find it in, I have looked in Michigan's newspapers and couldn't find anything.
Thank you so much for your time.

Amy A Scott Dillon
I sent an email but it was returned.
This is in reference to Amy A Scott Dillon memorial # 42987190. You have noted that her father was Thomas Scott. This is incorrect. On her death certificate is does state that her father's name was Ebenezer Scott. This is correct. I have a copy of Ebenezer's pension records. On one page he states the names of his 3 wives and the names of his children. He lists Amy as Alberta born Sept 8, 1864 which is different than what is given on her death cert. Amy's mother was Eunice Jenette Schoonover. I do not know when Eunice died but Ebenezer married his third wife, Assenia Ann Gustin, on Sept 5, 1867. It is not known if Eunice had died before this or whether they got a divorce. The paper that list his wives and children was dated July 4, 1898. He states his previous wives( not stating his first wife's maiden name) names, both dead but cannot give dates.
Amy was married 4 times before she married Thomas Dillon. On familysearch one can find a Wisconsin marriage record for her as Amy Alberta Thurston to Edwin Isaac Harrick. It gives her father's name as Ebenezer Scott and mother's name as Schoonover.
Last night I did an edit on the "edit tab" to connect her to her father.
Ebenezer and Assenia are my gr. gr. grandparents.
Here is a link to Amy in my tree on ancestry if you are a member. There you can see the sources.http://person.ancestry.com/tree/77989567/person/44375177911/facts
