I run the Aircrew Remembered Website where we honour both Air and ground crew, some of whom lost their lives - we welcome contributions, plus, subject to permission from relatives etc, willing to share information and or photographs.

Generally, we don't mind if anyone uses our photos for their personal records, and we would hope our name would be included as the source file. We are here to help others remember.

But please, if you're going to post them to a fee based/subscription website (including Ancestry, which ultimately profits from everything contributed - not that this in itself is a problem - after all they allow many details made available to relatives which help others), it would be nice if credit to the supplier (Aircrew Remembered) could be given within the posting.

Something such as: "Photograph supplied by Aircrew Remembered" would be appreciated. Our policy is "To share is to care". We spend many, many unpaid hours on our work - please respect that.
