Bio and Links
Bio Photo I got into genealogy in 2007 and I just love it. The main families I'm researching are: Powers, Bell, Benford, Warren, and McIntosh on my father's side and Hawk, Herndon, Dunlap, Lunsford, and Davis on my mother's side. I will gladly share any information I have.

I put cremated because he never had a real obit show up in the local newspaper, so I was unsure where to put him.

He has been moved, many thanks for the additional information.

Happy taphophiling

Hi Janie,

Thank you for contacting me. I believe I have all her info correct now.

That was a big "Goof", when I accidently added her son as her spouse, and only reason I had added a Norris to her marriages was due to the "Goof". I got Norris from Wesley's sibling info.

Verdell David Henry was married to Earline Bailon at the time of his death. I found his Estate Records on and she is shown as his wife.

There were only 2 children listed in Record; Probate Court, Etowah County, Alabama, 1947.

(1) Kenneth Henry

(2) Ann Henry, who I believe is Judy Ann Henry.

I added a photo of a grave marker that I believe is for this person; the name and birth date are the same, but the death date on the stone is quite different from that on the memorial you created. If you think this is the wrong person's stone, let me know and I will remove the photo.

Mary Catherine Hoskin(s)
I recently photographed a stone in Elmwood with this inscription:

Mary Catherine Hoskin

I am thinking this is the person from this memorial you created

memorial number 130142313

However, the birth year is different, and the surname doesn't have an "S" at the end.

I'm pretty sure this is her, and I've uploaded the photo, but if you think it's wrong, I'll remove it.

RE: Your suggested edits concerning Montgomery Marshall Cardwell
WOW! You are a real Sherlock Holmes! No, I don't have any information beyond what you have posted. Also I agree that they seem to be the same person, although being Montgomery Marshall a.k.a Morris C. is very confusing. Maybe you would want to add a note in his bio about the dual names.

Thank you very much!

RE: 28 Duplicates-Same Cemetery
Sorry about that. The spellchecker changed "VC" to "vic"! I was referring to the 1st VC on your profile page:

Hi Janie. I stopped by several weeks ago and noticed your Vic. I submitted them all to edit@ and today there are no more dupes.

RE: Sponsorship of Evan, Bertha, and Evalyn Barton memorials
Hi, my husband was Francis Wendell Tucker (1941 - 2012). His mother was Annie Lou Barton Tucker. Her father was Silas Alexander Barton, brother of Evan Jones Barton.

I was working on my husband's (as well as our three boys') genealogy. I try to sponsor several family members a year. Mainly to help the Find A Grave site. It is a great place to find ancestors and meet dedicated people!
