When a distant relative, Sarah Locklin Taylor (3rd Cousin, 1x removed) told me about FAG and I was able to trace my people based on her contributions, I decided to jump on the bandwagon. |
I am concentrating on south Cobb County, Douglas Co and old Campbell Co in Ga. as well as Berry/Pearson and related families in Hancock Co Ga and the Barge family. And in Texas, the Campbell Family.
So there is no confusion, please suggest your corrections through the Edit tab on the memorial, not on my profile page.
I respectfully request that if you have changes or additions to a memorial that I created, biographical information or an obituary, please do not leave the information in the flower/token section of the memorial. Instead, please use the Edit tab and send the information to me to include.
If you send a correction or suggestion and I have no way to contact you for clarification, if needed (no email or messages disabled) chances are the edit will not be made by me.
I will transfer within FAG Guidelines and sometimes outside -- my discretion.
Please be aware that creating Burials Unknown or Non Cemetery burials just to add people is a no-no. Please review FAG Guidelines.
I edit obit/bio submissions to remove living people, esp minors.
You may use my headstone pictures as you see fit.

"Thought to be the daughter of William H McWhirter and his wife Mary E McWhirter.
Widow of George Wallace."
I believe you are correct about these parents and spouse of Sybil. William Hastings McWhirter is the half brother of my Great Grandmother. I am looking for info on William and Mary E. and also on Sybil's sister Maud who married a Jack Harwell.
None of them seem to be on findagrave and I wondered if you might have other info. Thanks, Steve Slagle (my findagrave name is gbays)

Thanks, no not my family just helping load burial information for this small church.
|Bulldog Fan||RE: Aaron Baker|
Ok, just wanted it to be correct.

On the edit that you sent, James Gilbert Gibson is the spouse of Aaron Baker?
|Don Nolen||RE: Sarah Jones|
Oak Hill Cemetery is a very large cemetery with over 17,000 known graves and monuments and an unknown number of unmarked graves. Since there are monuments from the 18th century there are also lots of illegible monuments which are very frustrating as well. Sorry I could not fulfill your request.
|Jay Stripling||RE: John Gilbert Stripling|
Yes, John Gilbert Stripling is my great grandfather. I would be honored by your gesture.
|Sue K||RE: Annie Medlin|
Oh thank you. I really would appreciate it if you could. Sue K
