Hello, My name is Melinda, I am researching my Family Tree. Our Surnames are Sears, Kohn, and Dropp, I will be adding more later. Most of the family is from Michigan.

My goal is to link all the family members so once again they can all be re-united and accounted for. I would like future family members to be able to see where their lives started.

As I read through the records and re-search the family members I become even more aware of the struggles they encountered. Many of them leaving their home countries and coming to America in search of a better life for their young families.

I am amazed at the numbers of children born into the families, home births and home remedies to counter the very real ailments that have taken so many of their children at such a young age.

But despite all the struggles they are able to survive and live life to the fullest.

It makes me proud to come from such a strong heritage.
