Retired Navy now living the good life in the Philippines with nice warm weather. |
My main families of descent
Struble, Leddy, Pembrook, Knaus, Tintle, Chew, Livengood, Neff, Woods, Starnes, Brunner, Alexander, Johnston, Spencer, Jones, Kenney, Chance, Cline,Ramey, Nutt, Cartmill, Yadon, Park, Capps, Sidwell, Bliss, Kelley, Moore, Baker, Friend, Clarkson and Davis.
Also since I now live in the Philippines I'm looking for gravesites of American servicemen who died during the Territory & Commonwealth, and the Japenese Occupation & Liberation during WWII. So that other families might be able to locate long lost family members.

|CTRlindsay||John Wesley Cline (1856-1919)|
Hi I was just wondering how you know that Hannah and John J Cline are the parents to John Wesley Cline 1856-1919, born in Adair Co., Missouri. They had a a son John/John L., born 1860 in Washington, Appanoose, Iowa.
|Lula Degase||Ruth Ann Shaller Neff|
It's been along time. I was wondering if you would transfer Ruth to me. She is my great grandmother on my mother's side of the family. Thank you. Lula
I noticed you asked about Elnathan Baker.
He has a lengthy biographical sketch in "History of Dunn County, Wisconsin" (1925) pages 336-338. You can read it online at http://digicoll.library.wisc.edu/cgi-bin/WI/WI-idx?type=goto&id=WI.IHDunnCounty&isize=text&submit=Go+to+page&page=336
I hope you like this information. I asked Dora Bauman if she would add the info to his bio, but no response, yet.

|Janet Marie||Thomas and Sina Kelley|
I recently photographed all of Plainfield Cemetery. I noticed that you have a photograph for a KELLEY family monument on two memorials where it doesn't belong.
Thomas Kelley # 33241587
Sina Kelley # 33241639
The KELLEY family monument is NOT located by Thomas and Sina Kelley. It is located about 50 yards away in another section of the cemetery (near Ruth, Etta, Walter, Ruth M., and William Kelley).
I'm concerned that someone who is trying to locate the markers for Thomas and Sina will be confused by the photo you have on their memorials.
Please remove the KELLEY monument photo from Thomas and Sina's memorial. Thanks a bunch!

I was curious as to how much information you have about Thomas & Sina and their children???
|Bryan Davis||Edward Ford Struble birth date|
HI this is your cousin Bryan in Denver. I just wanted to point out to you that you have grandpa Struble's birth date wrong. he was born on May 6, 1902. This is just one of the many errors we have come across that you or your mother have entered over the years.
Please if you are going to maintain records and sites like this verify your that the information you are putting out here is correct.
|Marla (Mitchell) Burr||Levander LeRoy Yadon|
Did Levander die in June or July? The death date says June but the note says July.
|Dora Bauman||RE: Baker Family|
I cannot see a connection bewtween our families. I have been away from this site for quite a while due to family illnesses, etc. Sorry it took so long to reply. If I dig any farther and find something I will let you know. Are your relation from Wisc., Minn., Kentucky for starters? Dora

My husband is related to these families. Have a tree on Ancestry.com with lots of info and pix should you wish to have a look. Reynolds/Nichols tree
|JoAnn ||Della and Jenny Collett|
Hello Ben, I am going to take myself off the case. Maybe someone may have some better luck. I have talked to the people at both Sunset Hills and Sunset Hills Memorial and neither one has a listing for Della or Jenny ("Hettie"). I also contacted the two largest funeral homes. They both checked as far back as 1969. One had no Colletts and the other had one, Gerald Collett. So sorry. Do you think they remarried?
