H Maurice and Mattie Wood, Concord Cemetery, Forsyth County, GA
Hi. I was working on my Wood family line and was wanting to do updates on H. Maurice Wood and Mattie Wood findagrave memorials buried in Concord Cemetery in Forsyth County, GA. and noticed that my memorials had been taken off and all my info and photos had been transferred to your memorials. Can I please have these memorials transferred to me so I can update them? (It is so frustrating to work so hard on researching and photographing ancestors graves and writing bios and then the memorial is deleted.) They are my cousins.
Thank you so much in advance,
Amy (find a grave # 47147379)

RE: William Williams - Hooser Cemetery
OK, Catherine - I'd bet my paycheck (if I got one) that the date is 1865. I enlarged, cropped, changed colors, brightened, etc. I tried to print, but too out of focus to get a good photo. I did save 3 versions as above and would like to email to you as attachments - if you would provide an address. Please contact me at if OK. I will also ask my daughter to review to see what she says. And, lastly, I will look for the earlier database to see what date was published. Bottom line - it's not a nine!

RE: William Williams - Hooser Cemetery
Here I am playing catch-up re: messages left for me on my profile on Find A Grave Grave. I not sure if I ever answered your message, but if I did, I'm doing it again!

When the cemetery was read in 1999, the date of death 1869 was recorded. The cemetery had been cleaned and read in 1986. I'll see if I can find that data to check the recorded date of death.

I will also check my original photos to see if the dates are more readable on them. If you've already resolved the issue, let me know.

Lee Family
I sent you a request 5 years ago, to link Emily Lee Clarke to her parents, 5 years ago (2012). Is there a reason, you have not linked her to her parents? I'd love to here why? I sent one a couple of weeks ago (2017). Are you Active, Able to contribute on Find A Grave? Are you a family member to the Lee's? Find A Grave Admin. can link it for our Lee Family.

5 years. What a shame.

Menees family
I just wanted to take a moment and thank you for taking photos of these relatives graves.
I just noticed that Maud and Nettie died on the same day.
I had known John Benjamin died just a week after his wife Maud. Sure wish I knew their story. They certainly weren't very old.
Anyway I really appreciate your efforts.

The South Newspaper
Holly Springs, Mississippi
November 16, 1905

The sympathy of the entire community, county and town is extended to the family of Rev. B. C. Gray, of Hudsonville, on account of the accidental death of their youngest son, Thomas Cottrell Gray, a young farmer of promise, who accidentally shot him self the night of November 10.
The funeral took place at the plantation home and the body laid to rest in the family burying ground. Revs. Wilson, H. B. Gladney and N. G. Augustus conducting the services.
May the kind Heavenly Father comfort the hearts of the bereaved parents, brothers and sisters of the deceased.
