Menees family
I just wanted to take a moment and thank you for taking photos of these relatives graves.
I just noticed that Maud and Nettie died on the same day.
I had known John Benjamin died just a week after his wife Maud. Sure wish I knew their story. They certainly weren't very old.
Anyway I really appreciate your efforts.

Thomas Cottrell Gray/Cottrell Cemetery
The South Newspaper
Holly Springs, Mississippi
November 16, 1905

The sympathy of the entire community, county and town is extended to the family of Rev. B. C. Gray, of Hudsonville, on account of the accidental death of their youngest son, Thomas Cottrell Gray, a young farmer of promise, who accidentally shot him self the night of November 10.
The funeral took place at the plantation home and the body laid to rest in the family burying ground. Revs. Wilson, H. B. Gladney and N. G. Augustus conducting the services.
May the kind Heavenly Father comfort the hearts of the bereaved parents, brothers and sisters of the deceased.

Benjamin Cottrell Gray, Jr./Cottrell Family Cem.
I left a message for you July 22, 2016 with the obituary for Benjamin Cottrell Gray, Jr. #54627830 to add to his Bio. There had been some confusion about the Cottrell and Sylvestria Cemeteries but the corrections have been made. He is now shown only in the Cottrell Cemetery. Could you check my message from July 22, 2016 and add his obit to the Bio? Thank you.

RE: Williams in Decatur
Hi, I believe I replied before but am hoping perhaps you discovered more on Stephen C Williams family? Richard Williams of Decatur or Newton area is my husbands ancestor.

Obituary
The Memphis Daily Appeal Newspaper
Memphis, Tennessee
March 25, 1888
Holly Springs, Miss. News

It was with sincere regret that his friends learned of the death of Ben Gray, Jr., which occurred in Memphis on Saturday last, at the residence of his uncle, D. M. Scales. His many noble qualities endeared him to his companions and made him the pride of his parents and relatives. The remains were brought here Sunday and laid to rest in the family burying ground, near Hudsonville.

Hey. I came across your memorial for Clinton O'kelley on ancestry and I actually have the same person, same names, same dates with a headstone in Peachtree Memorial Cemetery over in Norcross, GA.

Just wondering how much you know about this person, and if your memorial (or mine) is just for veteran purposes?

Here's my memorial for him (I photographed the headstone myself)...Find A Grave Memorial# 155716571

(maybe we can link our memorials together for future researchers)

Hello Catherine. Regarding memorial 54625554 buried in the Sylvestria Cemetery in Marshall County, Mississippi, We've learned that a duplicate cemetery called the Cottrell Family Cemetery has been created. We've moved our memorials to the Cottrell Family Cemetery, and plan to have the Sylvestria Cemetery deleted. Mary Henrietta is not listed in the Cottrell Family Cemetery, so yours would not be a duplicate. We will wait until your memorial is moved to Cottrell before we have the Sylvestria Cemetery deleted. Thank you.
