I noticed a couple of months ago that someone had taken the gate and removed part of the back fence.

Appreciate that. I wish I would've dug the hole about 5-6 inches deeper. But it looks good. Didn't use the quick cement, but may go back and dig a little dirt out and put some in.

* Flowers Left For A Friend *
Hello Popeye, stopping by to say thanks for 'flowering' my Friend's memorial [Cherry-Renee Thomas].

I appreciate UR thoughtfulness & I know that Renee is looking down on us & saying "How beautiful all the flowers are." She passed away 12-23-16, but had been ill for quite some time with stage 4 Cancer. So young, only 62.

Have a great 2017 New Year & warm regards to you and yours. [Aren't those Grandkids precious gifts from above?]

Yes, thanks - if they're not related to you, and you don't mind, I'd appreciate it. Thank you also for all of your great work here!

RE: Pvt John A. Ross in Evergreen
You're welcome! Amazing to find this - he was only 16 and died on the first day of the Battle of Iwo Jima. Yes, he was a "Jr." and his father is John Amasa Ross, Sr. # 47418548.

I have a pending relationship edit trying to link Jr. to Sr. I'm also waiting to see Sr. linked to his two wives # 47418566 and # 113449090 and to some of his other children. I found there is already a pending request for wife #2 (Jr.'s mother); do hope there's not a problem.
