Bio

I am a native San Franciscan, born on September 4, 1954, five minutes after my twin brother. We grew up in the city, finishing high school at Lowell, class of 1972. My brother and I still live in San Francisco, me working in education, and Ronnie working in the trucking business. Our father, John Alvin Waits is considered to be the first man of African descent hired as a waiter at Tarantino's restaurant in the very early 60's. He died in 1971 and is interred at Skylawn Cemetery. Our mother, Addie Marie Ross, and sister, Nedra Lynn Waits are interred in Unit 7 of the main Mauseleum, where Ronnie and I will follow upon our deaths.
