Bio

One of my favorite quotes is by Edmund Burke. "People will not look forward to posterity who never look backward to their ancestors."

I am the daughter of the late Clarence Tatman and Evelyn Lawrence Martin. My husband Billy Don Bonds and I currently live in Farmington, Kentucky in Graves County. We have three sons, two daughters, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Though I am currently off due to health problems, I have taught at Calloway County High School in Murray, Kentucky for fifteen years. I am a Christian who is amazed by the most creative mind of all: God's. I love creativity, so I love all forms of art; my interest include reading, gardening, photography, scrapbooking, and crafts.

I love anything related to the people, places, and culture of to Between the Rivers in Western Kentucky. That was where I was primarily reared and the home of my heart as well as my eventual final resting place. My children and grandchildren have grown up with that heritage and now my great-grandchildren will grow up visiting the area known as Land Between the Lakes where I will continue to point out former schools, churches, businesses, communities, and home sites.

My genealogy interest are as follows: Martin, Nall, Potts, Robinett, Sigler, Holeman, Lawrence, Pinnegar, Ray, Hudson, Barnes, Thomas, Lady, Vied, Bunch, Hill, Hooper, Wohner/Warner, Cheatham, Smothers, Bonds, Johnson, Thomasson, Bell, Lamb
