Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my Roots since 1974. My Grandmother Annie Elizabeth Scroggins Huffman told me when I was a child... "Kathy don't forget the ones who came before, if you do, they will be lost." I earnestly try to keep a record of each person's life, in that way they live on in history. The cemeteries of Old Liberty, near Scotland, Van Buren Co., Arkansas, eight generations of my family, Lost Corner, near Cleveland, Conway Co., Arkansas also eight generations, Robertstown, Conway Co., Arkansas, Walnut Grove near Hector, Pope Co., Arkansas, Cedar Creek and Mount Zion on the Pope/Conway Co. Line, Lowes Creek, near Branch, Gage and Crossno, near Etna, Cemetery Ridge, near Webb City, all in Franklin Co., Arkansas, Caulksville, Logan Co., Arkansas, Rock Creek, near Cozahome, Campbell, Scribner, Landis, all in Searcy Co., Arkansas are my family's cemeteries but you'll be able to find me anywhere on this earth creating memorials and leaving flowers for family and friends, Thanks to FindAGrave.

My OBJECTIVE like most of the contributors on FindAGrave is to PRESERVE the HISTORICAL RECORDS of those who came before.

My Home Page "Kathy's Kin" on is updated periodically. Please feel free to use any data from my database that pertains to your family, that's why I post data online, to help folks find their family.
Genealogy is my "Magnificent Obsession".

Harry Austin
I noticed you left a cross on Harry Austin's Find A Grave page. I was wondering if you were a relative. I am his granddaughter.

Just wondering if are a distant relative to Serena (as I am), I have a question about the "Baby Ellison" that is listed in her memorial. I would rather ask about it in an email. Please email me at: Thank you.

Caleb Bost
Hi Kathy from Arkansas. I am the 4x great granddaughter of Caleb Bost and I was hoping we could figure out something together! I came across Calebs pension application papers and in it was listed a 19th child not listed on his memorial. I did speak with the person who shared the pension application with me and she stated she had been to the cemetery and see the grave for this son. She had the birth and death dates and name (although the name she provided is not the name listed on the pension). I'm not sure how close you are to he Old Liberty Cemetary but I was wondering if I could share my information and if we could locate the grave and had this final son to his memorial!?
Respectfully, Sara.

Infant Boswell

You requested a pic of the stone for Infant Boswell who was born and died in Aug 1909. I found an infant Boswell at the Franklin/Owl Hollow Cemetery but the birth and death dates are June 1, 1907 and June 4, 1907 with an inscription that looks like Dau (Daughter) of Bill & F Boswell. I have not input the pic. Do you believe this is the correct infant?

Franklin Family
My wife, Cathy with a C, is tied to the Franklin family. Her mother was a Franklin born and raised on the plantation in Franklin Co., TN.

While I have been working on my roots since 1976, she has not. As a surprise, for our 25th anniversary, I am going to give her all I have at that point.

I thought having some contact with other family members would be of benefit. If you want to email me it is

Thank you,
Gary Rissler

Lacy Robinson
John and Annie Huffman were my great grandparents
Hi, Kathy. I am Lacy Huffman Robinson. My dad was Dennis Huffman and my Poppy was Jesse Huffman. I believe he told me about you a few years ago and I (regretfully) didn't look you up at the time. I began researching my roots in 2008, but I just recently got a membership to My dad is also buried at Old Liberty and I try to go out there when I can, especially now that Poppy is gone. He was my rock, my confidante, my storyteller, and too many more things to list. I miss him terribly. The stories he told me of Grandma Huffman would have me spellbound and sometimes in stitches at the candor she obviously had. I only wish I could have met her. I am so thankful for the pictures you have of them on here. I've never really seen a good photo of John before. Poppy sure resembled him as a young man and my dad looked just like Poppy!

So I guess you and I are 2nd cousins, correct? Which one of pop's siblings was your parent? I'm very thankful you have all this information. Thank you.
