Bio

I had a great aunt who did the genealogy on my mother's side of the family so I have always known that I descend from John of Gaunt, the third surviving son of King Edward III of England and Philippa of Hainault. Exciting as that is, I didn't know anything about my father's family except that his grandmother had placed 3 of her 4 children (boys) in the Orilla Asylum in Canada after her husband died, got remarried to my great grandfather, and moved on with life. So, I researched my family in Canada and it just expanded from there.

I love the fact that find a grave has the ability to actually connect family so you can put children back with their parents, in some way.

If you have family that I have put on find a grave and you want them so you can manage their memorial just let me know. I don't have a whole bunch of "rules" I go by like some do. If they are your family and not mine? you can have them. I get pretty aggravated by people who make you prove this and that and all that nonsense. I think if you put stuff on here, it is for the benefit of the families not for you to chalk up another find to build your numbers. Any information, including death records, are welcome. The more information, the better
