Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have always loved cemeteries. The stones are beautiful works of art.

I began working on my family tree a couple of years ago to put an end to the myths that I was raised with. We are 100% German, well... really we are about 50% German and 50% Irish. We were millionaires until Gussie died and she "Willed" all the money to 20 different charities. Well... she did give all the money to charities, but it was around $150,000. Which is a lot of money! So, I have been hooked on genealogy ever since.

The names I am working on are Kramer, Jeschke, Kleinschmidt, Kister/Keister, Pierce, Kelly, Rochford and Smith. All from Clinton County, Iowa.

Coats, Keys, Smith from Randolph Co., Indiana.

McCambridge, Blair, Houck, Gonterman from Macoupin Co., Illinois.

Simpson, Chrisman, Bates and Rogers from Wayne Co., Kentucky.

Linck and Keller from Wheeling, West Virginia.

I noticed that you added two memorials here in the last few days. One was for "Shirly Hastings", the other for "Shorly Hastings".
I was just wondering if this is the same person and there was a typo involved.

Margaret was not the daughter of James Burgess to die in the asylum, her sister Missouri was.
