Hi Andrew! Glad you liked the photos and no I'm not related to the Shields family. I'm an amateur genealogist and a history buff so I don't like to leave memorials incomplete so I tend to go more over and above what alot of the volunteers on Find A Grave will do. Since I have access to alot of websites people use for genealogy I fill in what I can and try to take some of the guess work off the descendents hands. That, plus being local to Mt Muncie I have easier access to information that would normally be hard to come by if the requestors lived out of state.
If you need any additional information in your family history search feel free to let me know and I'll see what I can do.

I uploaded your photo request for James Shields. I wanted to let you know the names of the other family members buried on the same plot. They are mostly from his daughter's family.
James & Mary Shields and their daughters Nellie & Jennie.
Nellie's husband, Thomas Brunsteter
Nellie & Thomas' children: Walter, Percy, & Charles
I was able to find the rest of Nellie & Thomas' children at other cemeteries and submitted family link edits: James, Helen, Margaret, & Thomas
I went ahead and created memorials for the other family members on the plot.

Transfer are made. So glad they are now in the care of family who can add to their memorials. Everyone should be remembered with a nice bio.
If I can be of any further assistance, please don't hesitate to ask.
Have a nice week-end.
|Jacki Klawonn||RE: transfer memorials?|
Andrew, I will gladly make the transfers for you but in order that I get all the correct ones transferred, could you please go to each individual memorial, click on the edit tab, click make a suggestion, type in transfer please and your contributor #.
|BobBoston||RE: Thank you!|
You are very welcome.
|Verano1||RE: Nettie Joslin|
Be happy to do that--I'll add the bio information I have or you can add it. Either way is fine with me re the memorial. Take care.

|Barbara Myers Morgan||Harold Tredenick Miller|
How can a gravestone not record the birth date as found on marriage records (2), draft, and all census reports? Harold T. Miller's birth date was 1876 on all of the above records.
Also, Ellacoya Goodhue was Harold's second wife and not his daughter. Jeannette Myers Miller, my Great Aunt, and Harold had only one child, Enid Maude Miller. Thanks for all that you have done.

I thank you for the transfer; you have done a lot of work and your volunteer efforts are appreciated.
