I am retired from the grocery business and have lots of free time to get photo requests and gather any information that I can find for the requests.|
I am married with 3 grown children, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Other than working with Find A Grave, I have been doing genealogy for many years, have enjoyed finding lots of (family) and I have also traveled around the country side taking picture of some of their headstones as well.
I will be willing to transfer memorial pages that I have created to their families, only if I am not related to them.

You are very welcome. I can't actually take the credit for taking the picture as the lady that runs Sunset Memorial prefers I text her the request and she sends me the pictures. The cemetery is located about 7 or 8 miles out of town, near Fairmont. She's usually pretty good about sending them quickly. I'm just glad that you found his burial site.
|public name||Thomas Price @ Avoca, Oakfield|
I am not related, but live near Oakfield. I am transcribing obits from the 1965 local newspaper. I have done very many, and send them to the edit on Find A Grave. Most memorials are done by a cemetery walker who has 1000's of memorials and consist of a name and dates only. Just because their deaths were before Find A Grave they deserve a better memorial. Many do not respond and I send it a second time. I see you have a very complete bio of your grandfather, but thought you might like to see the obit there as it was published 51 years ago also. Sorry if I was a bother, I'll try to not send it again.
|Anonymous||RE: Elmer Kirkvold|
Could you please change the bio to read:
Elmer was raised and educated in Pinewood, Minnesota, son of Hans Kirkvold and Signa Torgelsen. He worked in logging camps until moving to Bainville, Montana in 1916 which is where on 22 Nov 1919 he married Selma Mathilda Huso, daughter of Ole Huso and Signa Lee. After marriage they lived in Bainville until moving to Handsworth, Saskatchewan, Canada in 1927. After his wife's death, he would later return to Pinewood in 1946 and then move back to Bainville in 1948.
To answer your question re where his wife his buried, sorry I'm not sure. I can see where the confusion comes in though. His son's Lloyd Canada, WWII Service File of War Dead states mother died in 1938. One brother not in army. No sisters. Could it be her but the death date on Find A Grave is incorrect, not sure? Thanks for the addition and correction.
|James McDermott||RE: Louis Huebert|
Is there a cemetery office that we can verify that he is buried there. Was he married? If there is no marker maybe when i get done with college I can see that one gets put out there. Do you live in the general area?
|Kurt Johnson||Bruce Qualley|
Thank you for the picture of his marker.
|James McDermott||Louis Huebert|
Thank you for your help. Louis is the brother to my great great grandfather Max Huebert, Is there a grave marker for Louis? If so can you post it on his page so I can see it.
