My family is from the Huntington, WV area and is where I have lived since 2001

I began my family search in the early 90's. My father had a bag full of hand written notes he had been collecting for several years....What a mess! So just to do him a favor I made copies of the notes and found a free software (Not much to speak of back then)and started sorting and entering the data. I remember it took me almost a month to enter the info but when I was done....WoW! it made sense. I have been at it ever since.

I guess the main family names I deal with are Patterson, Bates, Holley, Barnett and it flows down from there.
