Alexander Bott
Alexander son of William appears to be born about 1840. However Alexander H. listed as No. 1 and Alexander No. 2 in the same company and regiment have different death dates, the first being 28 Aug 1861 the second 9 Aug 1862. Their records are mixed in the files and one had a father William who claimed his pay due him of $24.90 the other had "neither, father, mother, wife, or child". These are terribly mixed.

Hi, I am guessing you mean her maiden name?

I added it in her bio just in case. I'm not rejecting any correction. I just added it into the bio till we can figure this out. Thanks for contacting me about this.

I am Grandson of William Douglas Womack.
I want to place a replica grave stone at the Bandy Cemetery like the stone that was relocated to East Hill Cemetery in Salem, Va.

I visited Bandy Cemetery on 9/21/16 and could not find the original grave location. Do you know the location of the grave? I am also interested in where you obtained my Grandfather's application for the stone he had placed in Salem.

As a correction, his name is William Douglas Womack, not "Daniel" as indicated on Find a Grave.

I am Kent A. Womack,III, 1013 Riverside Drive, Woodstock, VA 22664 540 459 3205 and email is
womackkent3@yahoo.com or you can contact my wife at this addresss.

RE: Minerva Carper
I'm doing some research for my son-in-law. Minerva and Adelbert's son William Chaffin Carper married Pearl Radcliff. William would be my son-in-laws great grand uncle in-law and Pearl was his great grand aunt. Also have info on William and Pearl's 4 children. Hoping to get my son-in-law seriously interested in family history!

She was my 2nd-great grandmother. I guess that makes us 4th cousins. :)

You created a memorial page for M I DEATON at East Hill Cemetery in Salem, VA in 2014...may I ask the first and middle name for this relative? East Hill states they have no such record for this person.
I am a Deaton by birth and have been working on family branches of Noah Preston Deaton and John William Deaton.
