I got hooked on my family tree when my sister told me we were related to Edwin McMasters Stanton. He was Sec. of War under Abe Lincoln. In the tracing I discovered he would be my ggUncle. His nephew Benjamin Harrison Stanton was my g grand father....for which Stantonville, TN. was named.
I am a great Granny and only work part time so most of my free time is spent in searching. In Feb. 2009 I located a forgotten cemetery where I had a great Uncle buried. On May 30, 2009 the Boy Scouts (Troop 32)of McNairy Co. TN. cleared it.After I posted the interments I met online a lady in Tx. that has relatives there.
