Rhonda, thank you for filling my request for Helen (Schlemmer) Jeram. She apparently shares the headstone with her sister Louise. Would you kindly add the photo to Memorial # 107450593 for Louise M. Schlemmer? I'll submit the photo request for that now so you can claim/fill it when you're ready... thanks in advance!

Dear Ms. Blackman:
To answer your question about Monroe & Mattie Davis. I haven't been able to find anything that says they were ever married. Mattie Davis is my grand-mother on my mother side and Monroe is my grand-father on my mother side as well. I have found and do have records of Monroe being married twice, but no record of him ever being married to Mattie. My guess is that my family didn't want it being said that they had children but were never married and I'm guessing that's why they even had her death notice to even say that her name was Mattie Mhoon. But I have her death certificate and it reads "Mattie Hines Davis" as her name at the time of her death. There is no records in Ark, Miss, or Tenn that they were ever married. If you ever come across anything different, please share it with me. Because our family would love to have that piece of history as well. As far as Monroe Mhoon, what kind of information are you looking for? I have plenty of that as well that I would love to share with Terrell. Before I do I would like to know what relationship, if any, that he is to Monroe Mhoon. There is a Sr. and Jr. Monroe so if he is related to one, then he's got to be related to the other. And that would make him and I family as well. Ask him if his father's name is Clifton Blackman, because that's Monroe Mhoon Jr's son name. Get back with me as soon as you can. Thanks and may God bless you.

I am sorry but after 2 trips to the cemetery to search for a marker for Gertrude, I did not find a headstone for her. Patty
