Pain has been, and grief enough, and bitterness and crying,
Sharp ways and stony ways I think it was she trod;
But all there is to see now is a white bird flying,
Whose bloodstained wings go circling high -
circling up to God!

If anyone has any suggestions, corrections, etc, please use the edit tab and send me an email via the suggest any other correction or addition link. I've only uploaded a few photos of family. Please don't copy them for any purposes. But headstone photos can be copied and I'd appreciate being credited.

Not much to say about me - Catholic, female, live on the East Coast, like researching including genealogy.

Started out wanting to manage my father and brother's memorials. But some relatives didn't have memorials so they were added along with their families and it's sort of snowballed. Sometimes I'll come across a story that was touching or sad, happy or just left one wondering why? Everyone has a story and it seemed important to tell their story and link up their families - parents, children, siblings. Just seem to stumble across stories or maybe it was something else. But everyone has a story - don't lose the stories - let them be remembered.

Family names: Brown, Cummins, Davis, Elkins, Lewis, Hendershot, Matlock, McOsker, Motsinger, Hatton, Horita and Tanaka.

I remember attending some of the Davis - Lewis family reunions growing up at Shields Park in Seymour, Indiana. Grandma Ethelyne Davis Hendershot Russell was really famous for her chicken and noodles and persimmon pudding. Which I think is the REAL dessert that Indiana should be known for not sugar cream pie - Grandma never made it!
