Bio Photo A few years back some kind person told me about the Find a Grave site.
for the fun of it, the first name I entered was my g-grandfather who lived in
Urich, Missouri, US. I was surprised when it came up along with a picture of his headstone, ( I was hooked).
So far I have entered the Tappen Cemetery,in B.C.

134654594 "JW Barner" Battleford Saskatchewan
Hi, I was wondering at your source for this gentleman entered in the Battleford Saskatchewan Cemetery? It says underneath "JB Barner dropped dead on a homestead" and I'm looking for the source information. I pretty sure it's my great great grandfather TB Barner, whom I know is in that cemetery, but I had assumed his records & location were lost in the town hall fire when they couldn't find him. (The death date & cause of death match.). Any help you could give me is greatly appreciated! Thank you for solving a family mystery!

searching for a desendent
Hi Doreen,

You've done an amazing job sharing all of this information! I am a great grandchild of Ralph Pritchard 1878 - 1929 and Mary Schmidt 1893 -1918. I was adopted at birth and am searching for my paternal lineage. I have found my birth mother but unfortunately shw will not release the name of my birth father and she listed her husband (not my birth father) on my birth certificate.

The story she gave was she was in Oregon visitin relatives with her other children while her husband was in Vietnam and met my father (a logger) and they had a fling. This was the summer of 1968 and I believe she was in the Salem / Portland area. She initially described him as being 5 ft 7 in tall with dark hair and a slim build and 26 years old at the time. She also mentioned that he had a large family.

I know I am a descendant of Ralph and Mary as I have DNA tested as a second cousin to Barry Manczo (Pritchard) who only recently found out he is of Pritchard descent as well. His grandfather was Lawrence J Pritchard 1911 - 1988 and grandmother Verna Vandall 1914 - 1989.

Any suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated.

You have done three MAIR memorials for this cemetery. I had already done one for William Rufus Mair before I realized you were involved.
Are you by chance willing to transfer these three to me as I have a lot of info for bio, links to parents and photos. These people were direct ancestors on my mother's family line.
If you are not willing to transfer, would you then be willing to work with me in adding information?
