Fallen Graver

Sadly, Hank Cox has passed away. Please consider visiting their Find a Grave memorial page and leaving some virtual flowers. Their enthusiasm for cemeteries and willingness to help future generations lives on through their contributions to Find a Grave.

Bio

May 30, 2020.

After almost 4 1/2 years away, I will become more active on Find A Grave.

I need to update myself on the site's current policies, so be patient with me.

I will respond to edit and transfer requests once or twice a week, but probably not on a daily basis, so, please be patient with me.

Any of my gravestone, or cemetery, photos may be used for personal, non-commercial reasons as long as they are attributed in the following manner: "Photo Copyright YYYY Hank Cox, originally uploaded to Find A Grave". For YYYY, click on the photo and check its upload date.

Non-gravestone photos are a different story; please ask.

Please don't send an Ancestry.com summary of a census record, birth record, etc. and ask me to put the information in the person's bio. In my opinion, a bio should read as such, not as a list of database records.

An obituary from a newspaper or online site should be sent with names of living people already scrubbed, per Find A Grave rules. They should also indicate where I can see that permission to post them on Find A Grave can be found.

Best wishes to all my fellow Find A Grave contributors.
