|Catherine Renschler||Re: Shouse|
Today I made a trip to the Adams County Historical Society hoping to find an obituary or death notice for Edith Shouse. There was nothing for her in the Adams County newspapers index.
In the index I did find the following:
Oliver Shouse -- Hastings Tribune 7 Dec 1929 pg 10.
Lura Shouse -- Hastings Tribune 15 June 1973, pg 15
Of Hastings, died at Blue Hill, Webster County, Nebraska. Services at Cairo, Hall County, Nebraska.
Unfortunately the archive was packed and there are only two microfilm readers, so I could not look the articles.
|Patricia Calloway||Sarah E. Calloway|
My husband's great grandmother was Sarah E. Peacock Calloway. Her son D. R. (Oscar) Calloway and his wife Essie are buried at Jefferson Church of Christ, Rural Hall, NC. There is a listing for "Sarah E. Galloway" at this church cemetery with birthdate which matches Sarah Peacock Calloway's birthdate. I believe that the last name of this person shown on Find-a-Grave should be "Calloway."
|Catherine Renschler||Lloyd Shouse|
During the 1940s some patients were buried in the institutions cemetery and some were buried by the county, usually in Juniata or Blue Valley cemeteries.
The cemetery should have a record of who purchased the plot.

|K. Stewart||Nannie Garten Epple|
I'm curious where you located the photo of Nannie Garten Epple. She was the sister of my great-grandmother, Rebecca Ann Garten Hewitt. I'm always interested in connecting with people who may have old family photos.
Thank you for posting the photo!
|Ray Bartlett||Almega Irene Shouse Cunningham, #177202396|
Thank you for finding my error when typing Alemga. I went back to the obituary and indeed the correct spelling is Almega as you suggested. Sorry for the confusion.
|LesaK||Nannie Marie Shouse Harris|
