I live in Montague County and have ancesters from both my parents buried in many of the cemeteries in Montague, Clay, Cooke, Clay and Wise county. I am currently researching the history of all the families buried at Starkey Cemetery. My father was born in the Starkey Community and is presently on the Cemetery Board. I have many ancesters buried at Starkey, including my grandparents and 2 sets of great grandparents on both my mother's and father's side and a great great great grandmother on my father's side. I'm using the census records to connect the different families. There were many marriages among families in the late 1800's and early 1900's.
