I began in 1970 with my interest in genealogy. My son was an only child and I felt he should know his ancestry. I was able to learn some of his father's family before we were divorced.

My mother was very helpful as she had a thorough knowledge of her parents families and some familiarity of my father's family.

My activities were dormant for a few years, but when the computer became widely used, I learned more about online research. Have also been fortunate to have made two trips to the UK to visit those locales where my mother's grandparents came from and father's father was born. Still have much more to see and do in the UK and hope to back before too many years.
