I have been researching genealogy for over 30 years now and enjoy all aspects of it. I am a cemetery hopper and also enjoy helping others trace their family history. Joining findagrave.com has now become my passion and I am anxious to have the opportunity to assist others in their research as well as expand my own. Although I am only listed in one area code for photo volunteer I am willing to take pictures in other surrounding areas and when I travel. I am willing to share information with other genealogists researching my family lines. I carry a bucket of flags with me in my cemetery kit and when I find your loved one and discover he/she has served in the Military I will place a flag on their grave. I have also decided to take random photos of sections when visiting cemeteries and listing memorials for them. If you find your relative on one of my listings and want me to transfer to you please just ask. This picture is of me standing between my 4th great grandparents markers in Pownal Vermont. John Downer who fought in the Revolutionary War as well as the Battle of Bennington, and his wife Lydia (Dunham) Downer. This photo was taken on my visit to Vermont in 2008 to attend our very first "ancestral reunion". All of us 'cousins' who attended and met for the very first time all descend from these grandparents and branch out in different lines. It was great meeting and sharing information and photos with everyone. We all keep in touch and plan to gather again.

Have sent an edit for you to unlink to this Florence since it is a cenotaph. He is already linked to her actual burial. Links are to actual burial but I can send you a hyperlink which will link to the cenotaph to add in the bio .
Just copy and paste when I send it via edit.

Have an awesome day,
He never called to reach out. I tried way back in 2011 and 2012 without a return call. So I let it go.
I was contacted and asked not to reveal the source.
I will respect that request.

Yes he was. I harbored no animosity or ill feelings towards Jr. as he didn't do anything to try an hurt me.
I wonder why he thought his contacting me wouldn't be received very well?

I had already heard of his passing Wednesday evening. I am so sorry for your loss. I was in total disbelief when I heard the news. It would have been nice to have had a dialogue with Jr. over the past few years as I missed his laugh, his stories and his company. Now I really lost a great friend whom I had great respect for, as God has called him home for a greater purpose.

If possible could you add info to my great-great grandfather, John Jarvis Thompson!? He was born on 26 April 1823 in Mentz, Cayuga Co., NY to parents JOHN THOMPSON and PHEBE CRANE. His children were: John C. 1845-1916, Henry N. b.1849, Mary Ann Palethorpe 1853-1877 (my gr-grandmother), Jennie Betsey Sanford 1857-1925, Sarah E. Ellinwood 1861-1921. Thank you for all you do...Bette

You are very welcome

I have made your suggested corrections to Lillian's memorial.
Thank you for contributing the photos from her 80th birthday party. I have added one of my own as well.
Happy New Year, hoping 2016 is prosperous and finds you in good health.
