Bio

Hello!
I have been researching genealogy for over 30 years now and enjoy all aspects of it. I am a cemetery hopper and also enjoy helping others trace their family history. Joining findagrave.com has now become my passion and I am anxious to have the opportunity to assist others in their research as well as expand my own. Although I am only listed in one area code for photo volunteer I am willing to take pictures in other surrounding areas and when I travel. I am willing to share information with other genealogists researching my family lines. I carry a bucket of flags with me in my cemetery kit and when I find your loved one and discover he/she has served in the Military I will place a flag on their grave. I have also decided to take random photos of sections when visiting cemeteries and listing memorials for them. If you find your relative on one of my listings and want me to transfer to you please just ask. This picture is of me standing between my 4th great grandparents markers in Pownal Vermont. John Downer who fought in the Revolutionary War as well as the Battle of Bennington, and his wife Lydia (Dunham) Downer. This photo was taken on my visit to Vermont in 2008 to attend our very first "ancestral reunion". All of us 'cousins' who attended and met for the very first time all descend from these grandparents and branch out in different lines. It was great meeting and sharing information and photos with everyone. We all keep in touch and plan to gather again.
