Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy since about 1994. I love the search and the puzzle solving.

I work, and run a business so unfortunately I cannot go out cemetery exploring right now. When I retire down the road!

RE: Jack Blair

You're very welcome. Please note that it is possible to change the order in which the photos appear in the memorial, so they don't have to appear in the (revers of) order in which I uploaded them.

All the best,

Something must be wrong with the system. I only noticed your message by accident. I have had situations before where there was a family marker and a military marker elsewhere for someone but usually they died in combat. I can't explain this.

If you find obituaries, I will be glad to post them. Actually, I will just transfer him. Hope you sort it out. If he is not buried here please note on the page "This is a cenotaph - an empty tomb."

ELMA TAYLOR 1869-1870
Do you have a source for the spelling of Elma's name? I was trying to find the 1870 Census record to determine where she was when she died, but the only record I found had her name spelled "ALINA".

Having worked for the Census and supervised the enumerators, I know the Census can be VERY inaccurate so I thought I would follow up to see what records you have.

Thank you sooooo much!!!

I've sent the obit to the email address listed in your profile. If you need me to send it elsewhere, let me know.

Quick Update...
Just to give you an update of where I'm at on the obit, I went down to the archives at lunch today thinking that the Journal would be in the self serve area, and it turns out that it is not. So I had to order it from the stacks. I will go down again later this week and get it then for you.

RE: Frank Ross
He's my first cousin twice removed, so I guess that makes me a little closer, so you might as well transfer him. Thanks, much appreciated.

As for Ronald Hutchins, I can tell you that he's NOT in the Hazel Bluff Cemetery, as I checked my copy of the transcription. I will be getting the Westlock Cemetery transcription soon - I'll be sure to check it when I do.

As for the Edmonton Journal obit, let me know the name, and I can get it off microfilm at the National Archives here in Ottawa next time I'm there.
