Bio

I'm 22 years old and have Asperger's Syndrome. I joined FindaGrave to honor and remember all of my ancestors. I love my ancestors. I owe a great deal to them, for without them I wouldn't be here today. :)

I love Genealogy. I started researching my family, using Ancestry.com, in May 2007 and have since added over 50,000 people to my tree. I also love history, especially the history of Washington County, Ohio. My relatives have been residents of Washington County for over 220 years.

My paternal ancestors surnames include:
Hamilton, Padgitt, Spindler, McMahon, Hayes, Miller, Smith/Schmidt, McCurdy, Bowers, Greathouse, Close, Young/Jung, Phillis, Remmele, Butler, Spicer, Parrish, Marlow, Haines, Love, McPeek, Forshey, Weaver, Williams, Chapman, Wilcox, Little, Barkhimer, Pasquier, Molter, Barth, Pfaff, Schramm, Zimmer, Barth, Long/Lang, Schmidt, Goedel, Zimmermann, Hinkelmann, Brookover, Wine, Marker, Blackledge, Doyle, Sooy, Gerland, Rappold, Muesse, Graslin, Carpenter, Bradley, Romine, McCann, Lantz, Cochran, Burns, Roach, Keith, Carroll/Carrel, Goodin and DeLancey.

My maternal ancestors surnames include:
Hashman, Stallings, Henry, Haught, Brady, McKenzie, Bryant, McCall, Gee, Crites, Antis, Caldwell, Ruark, Mason, Eddy, Beegle, Nixon, Hicks, Perry, Stephenson, Arthur, Anthony, Lemmons, Ware, Jackson, Simmons, Gillett, Cowger, Keaton, Heston, Keeton, Smith, Morgan, Brumfield, Stroud, Mattingly, Long, Apshire, Saxton, Morgan, Roberts, McMullin, Willits, Stigler, Cochran, Haught, Hensel, Haught, Jenkins, Thompson, Dawson, Potts, and Smith.

All eventually settling in Southeastern Ohio and Northern West Virginia, including (but not limited to): Washington, Morgan, Monroe, Noble, Belmont, Tuscarawas, Guernsey, Muskingum, Perry, Athens, Hocking, Vinton, Meigs, Gallia, Jackson, Lawrence, and Scioto Counties in Ohio; and Wood, Wirt, Ritchie, Pleasants, Tyler, Wetzel, and Monongalia Counties in West Virginia.

My immigrant ancestors came to America between 1620 and 1854 from England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Italy, Denmark, and Switzerland. I have Native American ancestors, who were reportedly members of the Oneida, Blackfoot, Sioux, Kispoko, Mohawk, and Shawnee tribes. I also have Turkish, Austrian, Jewish, and Royal/Noble ancestors.

I currently reside in the Lowell area and would be happy to take volunteer pictures of Green Lawn Cemetery and other nearby cemeteries. I would also be happy to help anyone who needs assistance in tracking down their ancestors or any other information pertaining to Washington County.

TOMBSTONE PICS: If you would like to use a picture of a tombstone that I took, on another website or on here, you may do so as long as credit is given. I think it is unfair to take credit for other peoples work.

FAMILY PICS: Pictures showing our family members may not be copied or shared publicly in any form without prior explicit permission from the family. This includes sharing on websites such as Facebook, Flickr, Ancestry, blogs, etc.

TRANSFERS: All of the people I have added on here so far are my relatives. If a person I add is not a relative I would be happy to transfer management of their memorial page to their relative, regardless of generations! (The memorial would mean more to that person's relative, than it would to someone that isn't related!)

CORRECTIONS: If you would like for me to make a correction, add additional information and/or add family links to any of the memorials I manage, I would gladly do so.
