I started researching my genealogy in the late 1960's. Have come a long way since than. When I started it was mailing off request and including a self addressed, stamped envelope and waiting days, even weeks for an answer. Now I just boot up the computer and it's there. (all most).
I enjoy going to the court house's where my ancestors lived and going through all the files they have. I try to take a trip at least once a or twice a year.
