I have made many research trips and have found so many live cousins and ancestors. One of my favorite places is the library where many of my genealogy books have retired to. I do beleive in asking the living about the dead. This is the best way to find out interesting stories and "skeletons". My main lines are Lindsey,Brown, Matthews, Smiths.
